The Economics of Evidence Before Commitment
Working Monograph · 2026
A research-oriented economic thesis examining evidence-constrained capital deployment, reversibility, information value and organizational decision learning.

Abdulmuen Mohamed is an Ethiopian-Canadian entrepreneur and strategic communications professional based in Windsor, Ontario. He is the Founder & CEO of Caffa Coffee Importers Ltd., where he is building direct, traceable commercial links between Ethiopian coffee origins and North American buyers.
His work increasingly focuses on evidence-led market entry, cross-border validation and decision systems for capital deployment under uncertainty, alongside Caffa's work in supplier relationships, market development, traceability and origin intelligence.

What the Journey Built
Working across languages, institutions and expectations without losing the thread of the message.
Presenting origin products directly to buyers, delegations and partners.
Long-running relationships with exporters, partner organisations and professional networks.
A habit of testing what is actually known before committing resources to it.
Research & Decision Systems
Alongside his operating work, Abdulmuen is developing the AEC Method — Adaptive Evidence-to-Commitment, a developing decision framework for examining how the quality of available evidence should constrain the scale of economic commitment under uncertainty. The framework is being developed through applied work in cross-border trade, market validation and capital-intensive decision environments.
